The majority of inhabitants of Kampala’s slums are refugees fleeing conflict. Three mothers, who raise their families from a single room mud-hut, have found support through micro-financing of small businesses and school sponsorship for their children. (Mothers Day, Namuwongo slum, Kampala, Uganda)
